The earthquake was felt strongly in major cities like Bogotá, Cali, and Pereira, which are home to some of the nine matches that were postponed, mostly for a day, according to the Colombian Football Division (Dimayor).

Dimayor postponed the match between Deportivo Pereira and Atlético Junior indefinitely, while the other eight matches will be played a day after the initially scheduled date.

The matches will be played on Tuesday, August 11, at the previously scheduled hours. Additionally, the matches scheduled for Tuesday will be played on Wednesday, August 12, at the same hours.
Conmebol, which organizes the Copa Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, has yet to comment on the situation of those matches, scheduled in the central region of the country.
