Charity Concert in Bogotá

On August 23, 2026, the Vive Claro Cultural District in Bogotá hosted the 'Colombia: Voces por la vida' show, an initiative that gathered more than 30 national and international artists to raise funds for the reconstruction of areas affected by the 7.4‑magnitude earthquake that struck the country on August 10. The collection exceeded 4.5 billion pesos, roughly $1.4 million, according to EFE.

Artists and Format

The concert opened at noon with Luis Alfonso and featured live performances by Maluma, Sebastián Yatra, Miguel Bosé, Andrés Cepeda, Silvestre Dangond, Manuel Turizo, Greeicy, Grupo Niche, Pedro Capó, and Eladio Carrión. Karol G joined the event with a virtual act broadcast live. Attendance was estimated at about 40 people in the open‑air venue, and the show was also streamed on digital platforms to broaden its reach.

Allocation of Funds

All money raised will be handed to Presentes Corporación, an organization experienced in emergency response. The entity will distribute the funds together with an execution and monitoring committee to support reconstruction in the most affected zones, as reported by EFE. The musical program will continue through the afternoon and evening, with Grupo Niche closing the concert with a special salsa orchestra performance from Cali, one of the cities most impacted by the quake.
