On Friday, August 21, the Estadio El Campín in Bogotá will host a solidarity match aimed at supporting families and communities affected by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10. The initiative, named 'Levantemos a Colombia', is led by ex-player Mario Alberto Yepes, who seeks to unite fans, players, businesses, and citizens around sports to contribute to the recovery of the most affected areas.

Yepes explained that this time the goal is not to win a trophy or secure a qualification, but to use football as a tool to help those in need. 'This time we won't play for three points, a qualification, a title, or a cup. We will play for the most important title: helping Colombia to rise up,' the former defender stated in an Instagram video.

The event aims to become a space for national unity and, at the same time, an opportunity to raise funds to support communities facing the consequences of the earthquake and the challenging reconstruction process. 'Colombia united in an extraordinary way to address this emergency. Now we must continue uniting to rebuild,' Yepes said.

So far, the organization has confirmed the presence of four Colombian football stars: Mario Alberto Yepes, Radamel Falcao García, Fredy Guarín, and Teófilo Gutiérrez. More figures are expected to join and form teams similar to those seen in Yepes' farewell.

Ticket Prices for the Match The prices for the solidarity match tickets depend on the location within the Estadio El Campín and range from $25,000 to $50,000. Occidental Preferencial, Occidental Platea Alta, Occidental Platea Baja, and Occidental General seats will cost $50,000. Those of Oriental Platea, Oriental Preferencial, and Oriental General will cost $40,000. Meanwhile, Lateral Norte and Lateral Sur seats will have the cheapest price, $25,000.
